J-fe spake and into every heart his Wards carried new strength and courage MONSIGNOR DUGGAN Although comparatively few Setonites claim SS Philip and James as their parish, because of its prax- imity to school many can truly call it their second parish. Thus was it fitting that the student body should welcome in a special manner the newly-appointed pastor of SS Philip and James, the Right Reverend Monsignor John J. Duggan. At a special assembly held on December 7, Gayl Carre, president of the Leaders Club, welcomed Monsignor Duggan on behalf of the student body. Expressing his appreciation, Monsignor Duggan assured Setonites that they were most welcome at SS Philip and James and asked prayers for the work of the parish. 's N.......,. Setonites, along with stu- dents from many schools and parishes, attended the rally which closed with the tirst afternoon outdoor Mass ever celebrated in Baltimore. His Excellency, the Most Reverend Archbishop Keough presided and Bishop Sebastian celebrated the Pontitical High Mass. Such a demon- stration of love and fidelity to the Mother of God was a fitting close to this year of grace. 1 inf ll, 1 maxi 1 'rsic.isntw2u2ml.a1sx
