blessing te these whose lives are touched by eurs. GRADUATION Academic caps and gowns, music and memories set the scene for our final hours as Setonites. As we proceeded down the aisle of the Lyric at 8:00 on Wednesday evening, June 8, trials and ioys seemed to pass with each step, and time stood still as we looked nostalgicolly back, hestitatingly forward. Suddenly our songs were sung, our diplomas received, and the Right Reverend John J. Duggan, S.T.B., Pastor of SS. Philip and James Church, was addressing us, the Class of 1955. Your value is determined by what you make of yourselves. Your halo of graduation this evening must first bow graciously to your dear parents, for you are a magnificent reflection of good and wise parents and of an American religious home. And how much do owe the Sisters who have placed the beautiful traditions of their own order and of their school in your hands. Guard them well. And so this evening we say to you graduates as you start out into an unknown world that we feel more confident because you are coming fresh from the halls of Seton High School. Moy you have an exalted sense of responsibility and a deep esteem of the purpose and dignity of love. We pray you will do well by Seton High School in the years to come, and may you be a credit to God, to country, to the homelife of America.
