Close Season With Awards Banquet Centered around the intramural program, the Girls' Athletic Association aims to include every girl in some phase of sports. Homerooms meet in intramural volleyball, basketball, and baseball competition. Champion volleyball and basketball squads earn trophies. Bowling teams compete at Hoinke's lanes for trophies awarded at the GAA spring banquet. Ping pong games are scheduled for individual sets in the annual tournament. The Green and White vies in inter-scholastic varsity, reserve, and fresh- man games on the hardwood courts. This year the GAA widened its field by initiating a volleyball clinic which instructed twenty girls as referees and scorekeepers for the intra- mural contests, 'BLOCK lT!' teumsters shout to Joyce Rolston, senior, in pre-game warm-up for Cl varsity volley- ball tilt on their home court.
