Wanted 0ne Headline for Page 57 One staff of 12 girls edited Seton Memories and six issues of the Setonian. Consequently, journal- ists' fingers were seldom off typing keys, scissors, pencils and paste jars. 'ince yearbook editing was an eiuirely new experience, everyone busily studied guides and attrac- tive exchanges. After deciding to emphasize construction year, the staff planned a modern format. .Editors Jane Nieszel and Katie Moran worked with three other staff members on senior panels and copy, and assisted With Write-ups for the introduction and organiza- tions. Lights burned late in the staff room Where co-editors Pat Halloran and Janet Peters worked with a staff of four experienced journalists and six beginners. Finally, with copy linotyped, dummy pages pasted, engravings ready, the first issue rolled off the press October 13. Seniors were thus relieved of assignments to complete yearbook copy. The six issues of 1955-56 compose the twenty-second volume of the Seton paper. Excellent ratings from the Catholic School Press, Columbia Scholastic, and National Scholastic Press Associations were main- tained by this year's staff. News Coverage BUSINESS MANAGERS, Zito Wagner and Judy Kallmeyer, sort ad contracts. Zita worked on the yearbook ad pages, Judy assembled senior activities, com- posed copy, and assisted with typing. STUDYING LAYOUTS to decide the size of a legend are Joyce Rivers, Connie McDermott and Arden McClung. Joyce and Connie mounted the freshman por- traits, Arden assisted Mary Grace Over- beck with the sophomore panels.
