Fantasy Ballet BALLERINA Barbara Myers poses in an arabesque in her dance as Princess of Mist- land during the prologue of Fantasy Ballet. Choreog- rapher for the ballet, Bar- bara taught the entire reper- toire of dances. Sister An- cilla Marie originated the ballet story and directed the performance. Artists of ote In a Fred Waring arrangement or a Rogers and Hammerstein song 94 girls shared the thrill of harmonizing their voices in the Seton Glee Club. Eager to join their ranks, 77 enrolled in the freshman chorus for ini- tial training. Instrumental talent formed a 29-piece orchestra in October which grew to 38 by mid-yearg 15 members were fresh- men. Regular orchestra practices were con- ducted by Sister Cleopha. Sister Helen Elizabeth directed rehearsals of the Glee Club three days each week in the study hall. The Freshman Glee Club was taught by Sister Paula Mary. Dr. Vincent Orlando from the College of Mount St. Joseph is special director for both music clubs. He met the groups twice Weekly and appeared with them at all public performances. -4b,6s N All GLEE CLUB OFFICERS assisting the music faculty are Pat Huhn, vice-presidentg Janet Hughes, presidentg Marilyn Vale, treas- urerf Jeanne Bayer, secretary.
