With S S WEDDING FORMAL, chosen by Christine Perry, SDS vice-presi- dent, is modeled for fellow offi- cers, Pat Maltry, treasurer, Rita Freeman, secretary, Barbara Banz- haf, president. Setonians founded the SDS in 1947, encouraging youth to supply the demand for the supply of modest clothing. Nine years have brought a nation-wide response. To inspire the Seton girl with ideals of modesty in speech, action and dress is the aim of the SDS organiza- tion. Throughout the year a special bulletin board re- minded onlookers that a Lovely Lady Dressed in Blue models the virtues of Christian womanhood. A style show was staged February 29 with the co- operation of McAlpin's department store. Seton models selected their own casual and formal outfits. Representatives attended city-wide meetings and a forum debate, February 4, at the Fenwick Club. In March, Christine Perry was elected president of the combined city units. SDS activity was supervised by Sister Dolorita Marie.
