Just a few yards away from the pouring of concrete were 700 girls like Mary Lou Holthaus, Kathy Bischoff, Nancy Rickert and Elaine Banzhaf, busy with building the mind and character of an ideal Seton girl. Following their student vocation, they aimed to fulfill the plans of the Divine Architect by studying the blueprint of Christ's life, the foundation stone of their Catholic education. As Seton has risen brick by brick under the guidance of engineers, so the Holy Spirit directs every detail of their school life to form full Christian characters.

T Essay Winners News is breaking every day at Seton with contests, dances, games, and field trips. In early November the social studies teachers with 200 freshmen attended a City Council meeting. Annette Frondorf and Karen Kirby entered an essay contest honoring John Marshall, and Karen Won third prize in Cincinnati. On ordinary days everyone goes to class to tackle the day's lessons like Agnes Jansen and Barbara Bachman in bookkeeping. Finally, when darkness casts mysterious shadows on the campus, Setonians return for dances and fun-the sophomore-senior masquerade on Hallowe'en is traditional.
