SEPTEMBER A few areas of the campus had new looks when stu- dents returned for fall classes. Men were moving into the womens dorm and its name was changed from Womens Residence Hall to West Residence Hall (see page 291). Buildings on campus were being renovated as part of a three-pear $4.2 million program (see page 277), and , thanks to SGA President Paul Avallone , we had a new bus shelter outside the South Orange Avenue gate. (Above) Paul gives President Edward R. DAles- sio the honor of cutting the ribbon on the new campus addition. A mountain of Baskin Robbins ice cream also helped kick off the pear when the Student Activities Board sponsored a giant ice cream sun- dae.
