All of the eulogies delivered at Father Frank’s funeral spoke of his dedica- tion to Seton Hall, his dedication to his pupils and his dedication to God. While we were sad at his passing we were glad for having had the opportunity to know him, to learn from him, to model ourselves after him, and to respect him for the warm person and enthusiastic priest he was. Bishop Dougherty spoke for all of us when he said, “He lived life with a song in his heart; we say good-by with a song in ours.” Vii

Father Frank Cassidy was unpretentious and unaffected by today’s artificial society: he lived life to the fullest and loved every minute of it. He understood the present generation as few others could. He was a friend, teacher, problem-solver and confidante. vi
