MONSIGNOR JOHN J. DOUGHERTY Monsignor Dougherty has been referred to as the “hub of every wheel of activity at Seton Hall” which, in fact, he is. As President, he is one of the most popular in the history of Seton Hall; full of the vitality and earnestness that he graduated from the Hall with in 1930. What is more, the rela- tion of a man such as our Presi- dent with Seton Hall is much like relating parts of a wheel to the wheel as a whole. Monsignor Dougherty has been a part of Seton Hall for many years, not only in his career as a student, but in his professional capacity at the Darlington Seminary, and now as President of the University. We will always know him as the man who follows his own ideal — the living progress of the “Seton Hall family.”
