1 Seton Hall offers in its modern language course a choice of French, German, Italian, or Spanish. In ad- dition to instructing the student in the fluent use of the language, the course provides a history of the na- tion, the people, and their customs, designed to fos- ter the interest of the student in both the language and the country. The primary purpose of our Classical Languages Department is to familiarize the student with the culture of the ancient World. Courses are offered in Latin and Greek.
