slations Charter t o is fully appreciative of the value of education in the preservation of the peace, and education is fully cognizant of the necessity of the United Nations Organization to the maintenance of world peace. The formation of an international regulatory body Qsimilar to the one proposed at San Franciscoj was included among the five points essential to the preservation of peace by Our Holy Father in his Christ- mas Peace Plan Message in 1939. We now advocate the institution of some international youth group to foster the interchange of ideas among the youths of today, the citizens of tomorrow. We want to begin now to school the people ol' the world in the knowledge and use of the United Nations Organiza- tion. We also acknowledge our duty: to support this world league and the principles for which it was established, to do everything within our power to obtain for it a world wide comprehenson of its purpose and acceptance of its authority. And so Seton Hall, representing both education and youth, has undertaken to do whatever possible to further the cause of the United Nation Organization, to make each person whom it reaches through this book conscious of what he can do for the Organization in his capa- city as a member of a family, as a student, an American, and a Catholic.
