The team finishel in a tie for first place with Binghamton North at 12- for the Division II championship. Seven Saints were named to the Coaches All-Sta team at the season's end. Iohn Pawlowski, secon baseman, Mark Prosinski, outfielder, Greg Stina an four year Varsity starting shortstop, Tony Anto were first team selections, while Bob Guiton, thir baseman, Bob Salankiewicz and catcher, Dave Go man were second team choices. Tony Antos wil named team MVP.

Saints after a most disappointing start became very com- petitive during the latter half of the season. The development of a sound defense with a good pitcher was quite noticeable as the Saints battled down the stretch. The team batting average improved to the .270 mark. A season that shows only three victories may be deemed to be a poor season, but this team developed a marvelous spirit of pride and they will be a definite factor in the continuance of winning Baseball here at S.C.C.
