The spectators' necks stiff- ened as they watched the ball fly back and forth . . . back and forth Although not all of the matches became quite so dramatic, in victory and defeat the newly uniformed ten- nis team always strove for more. They fulfilled the meaning of the word 'team' by displaying undying effort and cooperative participation. h This was a season of change. The three year old tennis team created a new record in excellent standing and came close to going downstate. The team obtained new uniforms which stood above new tennis courts.
