A 1' Sister Ieanine Marie Sister Theresa Marie Ms. Barbara Schmitt Bd 3 Principal Associate Principal Dean of Women Administration - Examples in education Education does not mean teaching people what they do not know . . . it is a painful, continual and difficult work to be done by kindness, by watching, by warn- ing, by precept, and by praise, but above all- by example. tRuskinJ Our examples in education are Sister Ieanine Marie, Sister Theresa Marie, and Ms. Schmitt. They provide us with the kindness, the warnings, and all of the watching that is necessary for us to grow into educated young ladies. The North Central Evaluation proved to be the challenge of the year, which the administration and faculty bravely faced. The North Central is one of six regional accrediting associations. Since 1972, when Seton obtained membership, the school has been under obligation to be exam- ined every seven years. This examination consists of three phases: a self evaluation, evaluation by outside organizations, and the follow up report. All of the information gathered by our hard working faculty, administration, and guest observ- ers culminated in the final report which finishes more than a year of hard work. But North Central evaluation was not the only area of interest for administration. The day-to-day working of the school in this '78-'79 academic year demanded their constant attention, as any of this team of three can tell you. Much time, too, was devoted to planning for Seton's future.
