'QF Q 5'- 'Qt 5 - Qi H1 Ni' Our story began four years ago at a peaceful school Calqed Seton. Peaceful that is until the cla-ss of '79 came along. Whatever did happen to the class of 79?. . . The bicentennial saw us entering as freshmen. America probably aged another 200 years after that. It wqs a year of cliques. Clique?! What's a cli- que? Of dirt first fund drive land our first lossj. It was the year of the Freshman Tea Party where a notoriou few tore down posters and set toilet paper afi e. We had our very own big sisters to bunny h down the halls with. It was a year that passed q ickly- ' , We fo nd ourselves as sophomores. We also found ou selves trying to get a date for date dance. The nighl was More Than a Feeling', but less than that' for all of us who ended up taking our friend's oo short brother. We made up for it though en we danced with the most handsome man in e world, dad, at the Father-Daughter dance. Charles Manson and Sharon Tate made an appearance on star day. Squirt guns were the craze.- Teachers lookingfor bright minds found only wet ones. This was our year to win the fund drive. We lost. All our frustrations were taken to the bathrooms. It was a good place to blow off smoke . We couldn't wait to be upperclassmen - Soon enough, we became upperclassmen. jun- iors. That didn't help much in the fund drive. Last '- again. We did win the tricycle race though. We .. .shone with pride and our finggrshsllone with gold as we learned that All Tbi'norrows,Begiri -Today'-'. if S V , 1 . The judges at our Gong Show weren't hard to spot -they were the ones cored with whip cream. Our Burden of'Love was understood every day at lunch by Mel Tillis. It was forgotten at Christmas dance, and prom where we were lust the Way We Are . Iunior retreat was spiritually livened by dancing in the cafeteria. We were the last to learn about the hot dog in Mr. Putz's religion classes. And Washington?! lt's better to leave well enough alone and look towards a new year - The new year brought us two Popes. And we were seniors. Animal I-louse fit our style per- fectly as togas roamed the halls and food fights were planned. lt was our turn to be big sisters,., lead the bunny hop and buildthe lasting friend- FJ ship with our little sisters. The last Christmas ffl dance stayed forever as December Dreams . And t prom lingered as more than just- snot-her dance. Yes, we lost the fund drive for the fourth time. But cheers of No more fund drive! rang from all our mouths. We helped place the school fourth in the WMET spirit contest. You are responsible young T ladies bombarded us from everywhere.'Yet we didn't think of that when one tiny bee got loose in .. a choral room of 75 girls. And how did that ham- burger bun get stuck on the cafeteriailing? We took our' st march into the gym, prcFdTOur tears, I curious to go but afraid to leave .four years. of frien ltix - A t vor! f 'bis thgfwqrlde -- ki' ' - ' f . -if M - 1 - - ' '1.9' 161
