,MI T il Write 0n The job ofthe Mirages staft was to create for one annual the events that took place in the 1987-88 AL year. Not only was this stalt re- sponsible for the yearbook, they also produced a monthly news- paper entitled The Mirror. One dit- terence of this year's newspaper was its appearance. The staft hal type-set by the Mountain Hig Desen Guide, which gave it more professional look. Speech class, taught by Priscilla Hall, was offered first semester. In this class, students were allowed to compete in local contests in which some were awarded fortheir abilities to speak. Second semester, students from the speech class transferred to the drama class, which was taught by Kathy Turner. The students learned how to fully utilize their acting abilities by participat- ing in two plays, Drive ln and Cinderella'? 131
