LT Smith then at- tended tiriqham Younq Univirrsity where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree. Hecvivinq his commission in July 153230, he served aboard the USS FALGOUT CDER- 3?4J and Ihr- USS ZLLIIVIA CAV ASD, After a tour of shore duty with the Special Projects Office as Polar is and Posivdoii Propulsion Ufticer, he attended the Post Graduate School at Nlontvroy, ilalifornia as an lgnuineering Scionoc Student, Upon qraduation in Novi-nihirr 10156, he reported aboard the USS SERHANU to assume the duties of Lxiiiziilivc llfliiivr.
