They ran errands for Coach Struna, kept score, and many other tasks necessary for a successful season besides adding moral support and cheering our grapplers on to victory. 13

Middle Row Cl-rj Mike Woods, Scott Walsh, Jim Crisman, Greg Marshall, Roger Armstrong, Don Nelson. Front Row Cl-rl Tracy Tiptor Jon McLennan, Kevin Salzer. The Wrestlers really showed promise this year and came up with a 10-6-1 record. All of the grapplers added to an outstanding finish with Scott Walsh and Paul Pit- stick becoming the first two District Champions from Serena. Paul then went ahead to become the first Serena Grappler to win at the sectionals coming up with a third. In addition, Paul really added to our team with firsts at the Mooseheart and Water- man Tournaments and a second at the Sandwich Tournament. At the end of the season Paul was elected captain and MVP. Other outstanding wrestlers were Mike Woods with a second at the Mooseheart Tournament, a first at the Waterman Tournament, and a third in District. Brent Rabe brought home firsts in the Moose- heart and Waterman Tournaments, a second in the Sandwich Tournament, and a second in District competition. Scott Walsh also placed first in the Waterman Tournament besides his first in District, J on McLennan placed first at the Moose- heart Tournament and second in District competition. Scott and J on return next year and with the rest of our other fine grapplers we should have another great year!
