Seniorflourt Attending State Convention in Chicago were: Dave Butterfield, Paul Pitstick, Don McLachlan, Karen jehn and Carol Sebby Kim Foreman, Kim Rucker Congratulations to Dave Butterfield who, this year, became the first Serena student council member ever elected to an office on the district level. Dave was elected vice-pres. of Prarie 8 District which is the most active Illinois district in student council affairs. Serena's student council hosted an all- day visitation in which council members from other schools observed Serena's unique operations. Band Goes To LS. On October Sth, the Serena High School Band and Pomerettes competed in a field show competition at Illinois State University. The band received 6t.h place, but performed very Well against tough competition.
