.H.S. This year the members of the Na- tional Honor Society employed their qualities of scholarship, service, character, and leadership to make Serena High School better. The members cheerfully served as office assistants and handled ticket sales at basketball games and wrestling matches, Money was earned by Spon- soring a bake sale held during the lunch modules, The NHS conducted the annual Easter Seal Drive for Serena Township and a Personal Needs Drive for the Dixon State Hospital. In March, twenty-one members were inducted into NHS at a candlelight ceremony. In May the forty-four member group was honored at a banquet in Joliet sponsored by the Board of Education.
