Devices Teaching aids help instructors in various ways. The auditorium is available to show movies corresponding to material being taught. Tape recorders arc of value in demonstrating many points in such fields as speech and foreign languages. Mimeograph machines, typewriters, and paper cutters are needed in preparing class materials. Mr. Harold Knapp, biology instructor and science department chairman, looks forward to more field work for his classes. He says, Better investigation and more laboratory time is possible since we received new biology texts. 29

 Parents, Teaching Staff Meet at Hellgate Open House Mr. Reuben Zieg, Hellgate geometry teacher, has been teaching for 20 years at Missoula County High School. Mr. Zieg tells one parent at the Hellgate Open House that he finds student evaluation the most difficult and challenging of his responsibilities. Social Studies Chairman Elizabeth Taylor and a parent discuss the student papers, maps, and texts at Hellgate Open House. Parents enjoyed the ballot comparing the school mock election with state election results.
