Coordinating Committee Curricula of Both Guides Buildings Mr. Harold Herbig jokes with some of his students as he explains the piece of music they are learning. The biggest Orchestra projects this year were the State Orchestra Festival in Great Falls, the Mossiah, and the Spring Concert. Mr. Lyle Leischner, Sentinel chemistry teacher, assists one of his students in an experiment. Mr. Leischner, Mr. Wilson, and Mr. Miller conduct 12 chemistry classes each day because both seniors and juniors are enrolled in the course this year. The curriculum coordinating committee, under the guidance of Mr. Bewley, is an innovation for the high school. It consists of three teachers from each of the buildings elected by the faculty. Sentinel Self-Service The studio art course for fourth year students occupies Mr. Aaron Schenck's attention as he looks at one of his student's projects. Department head Schenck also teaches basic art and history of art, and is chairman of Open House. Mr. James Tibbs, Sentinel music director and co-director of the Centennial Band, prepares his marching band for the Silver Spartan Day parade.
