SiudsmL QomvdL HARRY HAINES TEDDY NIEMEYER MARY MANN Vice-President Secretary Treasurer The governing body of MCHS is the Student Council. Each homeroom elects a representative, who attends meetings every Monday. The members belong to one of the following committees: Welfare, Directing Activities, Administrative, American Field Service or Publications. All requests for dances, bake sales, drives and other activities are put before the council for approval. The Student Council sponsors the AFS program, bus trips to Butte or Kalispell, a dance, and Fox Theatre Courtesy Card Sales. The second semester the freshman class conducted its own student council in the Higgins Avenue Building. Student Body officers, elected by the entire student body, are: President John Datsopoulos; Vice-President Harry Haines; Secretary Teddy Niemeyer; and Treasurer Mary Mann. Faculty sponsor is Mr. Whitmer.
