As one who has worked in ll variety of schools, I know a fine school when I see one, and Senn is one of the best. Thus Mr. Samuel Nowinson, fornierly principal ol' Hayes, Key School, and Englewood High School, began his administration as Principal ol Nicholas Senn High School. In addition to this, he taught at McKinley High School, Rees Elementary School, and was principal of VVells Evening School lor five years. During the summer ol' l94l, Mr. Nowinson was the head of Austin High School, the lol- lowing year ol Lake View, and lour years later ol Crane Technical High School. A varied and wide background ol' adniinistrative abilities has accompanied our new principal. Besides having the knowledge of the educational functions of the school, Mr. Nowinson has been supervisor of a social center program lor ele- mentary schools for seven years. As a eliniax, now in 1956, Mr. Nowinson is the new principal ol' Nicholas Senn High School. 19
