Ianucrry Class, 1945 Treasurer Elmer Linden, Luncheon Chairman Corky Childress, Presi- dent Herb Haberstroh, Vice President Tex McCraken, Secretary Shirley Swank, fudge Arthur Lueders. N Ianuary 1941 the Freshman class looked forward to four years of high school life here at Senn. Now in 1945 they can look back upon those four years and be proud. The class chose Herb Haberstroh for president, backed by Bob McCracken, vice president and Art Lueders, Marshal Iudge. There were runoffs for secretary, treasurer and luncheon chairman. The re- sults showed that Shirley Swank, Elmer Linden and Corinne Childress were thought capable of filling those offices. Throughout the semester this class made known its outstanding scholastic record, and its willingness and spirit in taking part in school activities. Dependability and alertness were shown when it came to Various school functions and the pur- chasing of stamps and bonds for the war effort. The Senior Luncheonkthe last complete gathering of class and teachers at the Edgewater Beach was an illustrious event at which classmates thoughtfully remem- bered the boys who had to leave for serv- ice pervious to that day. The graduation exercises held in the Senn Auditorium made a perfect ending to high school careers of the Class of Ianu- Qfy, 1945. ' Page I7
