RICHARD TREAT President ANDREW HAYES Vice-president JERRY MAGRUDER Treasurer DORIS HENRIKSEN Secretary GEORGE HARRAH All School Council January, 1939, Class When the class entered as freshmen in the winter of 1935 it was just another freshman class? Four years later this same class of students, numbering close to 300, and headed by Dick Treat, Andy Hayes, Doris Henriksen, jerry Magruder, and George Harrah, proved itself outstand- ing in more Ways than one. During the football and basketball seasons the stands were filled with spirited Senn Seniors cheering their teams. Through the efforts of the All School Council, led by the 4A officers, 51512.00 was raised during the semester exclusive of football games and other social events. Two committees Were, in the main, responsible for the collection of this money. They Were the Thanksgiving Committee under th-e direction of Mel Holleb, and the Christmas Committee, headed by Franklin Adams. Drama played an important part in the semester's calendar. This year the Players and Work-ers presented Tiger House. After weeks of preparation and expectation the Prom finally arrived, being held at the beautiful Medinah Athletic Club. Three short days after, the Senior Luncheon at the Edgewater Beach. Dancing furnished entertainment for the afternoon. The same evening, Thursday, January 26, was the final round-up for a class that had been together for four short, eventful years at Senn. Page I 7
