This year the class numbers five hundred twelve. The class of 1938, symbolic of twenty-five years of Senn prog- ress, is not outstanding in numbers alone. During the past year Senn has won many honors under its leadership. The amazing school spirit and pep of this Silver lubilee class first appeared as the school cheered on the football team in the championship game at Soldiers' Field last fall. With the advent of the spring semester this vigor went still further as Senn band won the City Championship and advanced Page 30 to the Nationals. The All School Council, under the leadership of the senior officers, did much to raise sufficient funds to send the Band to the national contest. The class ot 1938 placed second in the nationwide Uni- versity of Chicago scholarship examinations. In the field of athletics Senn won city second places in her fencing and apparatus. Going on in the tradition that has brought Senn its many achievements during its quar- ter century of existence, the Senior class has this year more than ever come forward with all the spirit and color that represents Senn.
