This organization consisted of twenty students and was sponsored by Mrs. Murfin. The Hallow- een party and other activities were funded by bake sales, cookie sales, car washes, flower sales, and the most suc- cessful, being the candy cane messages and Easter baskets with messages. All of the remaining funds were used in their annual Keyettes convention to Ocean City in April. As you can see, Keyettes was a big success this year! 2l Yvonne Zietlow is proud to be a Keyettes member and helping the community. 31 Shelly Ridder is happy with the success of the Keyettes and the special feeling of helping people. 47 Ingrid Baik points out to others the im- portance of the Keyettes in serving the community. 11 Many parents meet and support our school's Booster Club 21 The membership of Boosters has risen each year proving it to be a worthwhile endeavor L Boosters . . . Our Eager Supporters The Seneca Valley Booster Club con- sists of faculty, students, and parents of students who are concerned with an all-around education for those who at- tend our high school. Since 1974 this outstanding group has contributed hard work and support in keeping our extra curricular activities running smoothly. The Booster Club has given support to such groups as: Football, Basketball, Softball, Band, Poms, National Honor Society, NIROTC, Swimming, Track, and Yearbook. The Boosters raise mon- ey through projects like working in the football concession stands and selling snacks during the Christmas Basketball Tournament. ln addition, the Boosters helped fund the lighting of the football field which started last year. 31 The members of the Booster Club dis- cuss future projects needed to raise money. 41 The Boosters are concerned with a well- rounded education for the students of our school. The Ye This year's yearbook staff met the challenges of deadlines and previously set high standards with determination and commitment. Staff members, under the leadership and guidance of advisor Mrs. McNairy, worked long hours throughout the entire schoolyear in order to successfully complete their jobs. Although many people originally signed up to be mem- bers ofthe staff only the truly deticated stayed until the very end. Some of the many duties of the yearbook staff include designing layouts, interviewing staff members and students, writing and editing copy, obtaining photographs of individuals and organizations, formulating ideas that went with out theme Excel , thinking up original cap- tions, and conducting student polls. Some of this was done during summer workshops but most of the work was accomplished on school days, occasionally not being completed until 6:00 P.M. Seneca Valley's Yearbook Staff deticated themselves to their peers, adminstrators, and teachers in the creation of a yearbook that ex- hibits teh traditional Pride of the Valley and a special striving for excellence.
