Top: Paul Lumbard. 23 lay Midgely enjoys the festivities at the Mistletoe dance in A Christmas Carol. Wwfffvffi. ,L The Show Must Cro On! Curtain Up! , Light the lights! , and Quiet backstage! were just a few of the memorable phrases used by Cen- ter Stage members this year. Several highlights of the year included the sell- ing of refreshments in Halloween cos- tumes at the GaithersburgfSeneca game, the ever-popular M 81 M sales, the movie and improvisation nights, the assisting with the Dance Club produc- tion, the trip to see Ben Voreen in Grind, and the Center Stage produc- tions of A Christmas Carol and Gypsy. Sponsored by Dr. Bogar, Center Stage proved to be a club full of fun, energet- ic, exciting people who knew how to make others feel good about them- selves. 33 Penny Glover and jessica Steichen both know that studying the lines first is important. 43 joe Maguire did an excellent job playing the leading role of Scrooge in Center Stage's pro- duction of A Christmas Carol.

Watch Those Dancin Seneca Valley's growing Dance Club started the year off with a bang. The Germantown Octoberfest was their premier performance this year. French Club The Seneca Valley French club was sponsored by Madame A. Dudley. This group of students met every two weeks to plan their various activities, including after school movie parties, home par- ties, and trips to French restaurants. This club was a good opportunity for students to get together and enjoy a little French culture. 11 The French Club Members First Row: Grace Chou, Susan Schima, loe Maguire. S The 1984-1985 school year marked the second year of the existence of the Spanish Club at Seneca Valley. Last year's president senior Brad Rosenthal, was elected to serve another term, and senior Thanh Nga Burrell was selected as vice-president. Students in the Span- ish Club were brought together by a mutual love for, and appreciation of, the language.
