Award Ceremony 'l Clare Dolan received the principal's ath- lete award from Dr. Dumais. 2 Alaunda Drain received the Rotary Club scholarship. 3 Amy Rabb received outstanding science award from Mrs. Tonkery. Z . f 4 Matt Richards received outstanding physcial education award. 5 Cindy Atwater received the Sencea Val- ley award from Mrs. Bell. 6 Paul Hayduck received the principal's student athlete award from Dr. Dumais. 7 lon Stevenson received the U.S. Naval Academy scholarship from Captain Alter. Monday night, May 21, many distin- quished students gathered in the audi- torium to recieve every kind of award from outstanding work in a foreign lan- guage to the best all- around student at Seneca Valley. Dr. Dumais added an award this year. The principal's student athlete award went to Clare Dolan and Paul Hayduck. Mrs. Bell was also on hand to present the Seneca Valley award which went to Cindy Atwater for all the time and ef- fort she put in on various activities this year. Other awards that were recieved were All A's , numerous scholarship and academic excellence awards. There were many writing awards as well as athletic triumphs, and recongition of the National Merit Scholars.

The talented cast, under the direction of Dr. Bogar, Mr. Heier, Ms. Timmins, and Ms. joseph, told the audience for two weekends: Let us Entertain You, because we're Together Wherever We Go. The performers were supported by creative, colorful technical effects designed by Mr. Havatt, Mr. Hinkeldey, Ms. Hardinge, Ms. Baker, and Ms. Malitz. As the pictures show, the energy, dedication, and talent that went into Gypsycreated an unforgettable production and hundreds of happy memories. GYPSY

N H S Induction + Award Ceremony The National Honor Society Induc- tion was held in March. The ceremony consisted of Mrs. Bell and the officers giving a short speech and the inductees reciting the Honor Society oath. There were fifty-six new members inducted this year. The requirements for the Honor So- ciety are a grade point average of 3.5 and having leadership and scholastic qualities. All of the applications were reviewed by a faculty committee and they chose the new members. The in- ductees were given a flower to let them know they had been chosen.
