A sight that signifies the end of another school day, the buses waiting to take students home. Paul Vetter takes one last look and reflects on the last three years of his life. Gale Lucy reflects upon memories of her high school days. Words that remind us of friends, loves and truly happy times. Each one of us will choose a different life for ourself, be it college or marriage or moving out of state. The graduates of 1985 aren't the only people from Seneca making a change in their lives. Mrs. Marion Bell, Seneca's principal for 18 months is leaving to work with the Department of Human Relations. She has contributed so much to this school, and it is a better place because of her work here. We are thankful for her time here, and next years' juniors and Seniors will miss her. All of us, when we read this book time and time again will feel the same thing. A sort of assuredness that comes from knowing that we once had friends at Seneca, and we always will. Memories! The End Of A Perfect Year Closing

New Principal Dr. Richard ' fi. Dumais Seneca Valley High School is indeed the Pride of the Valley. I came to Seneca Valley in mid-March to what I was told was a great school. That statement has proved itself to be absolutely true in all possible aspects, great staff, students and community. After attending and participating in the annual musical, WOC banquet, performing arts ban- quet, various sports events, sports ban- quets, the awards assembly and culminating with the graduation of the Class of 1985, I feel that I am indeed fortunate to be assigned to this school. I look forward to assisting in its future development as a superior MCPS high school in all aspects of high school life, academic, athletic and extracurricular. 'I Dr. Richard A. Dumais, Seneca Valley's new principal, 2 Mr. Brown, one of Seneca ValIey's assistant principals. - Faculty
