Skill, Determination And Spirit junior Varsity Football ended the season with a 3-6 record, and wins over Churchill and undefeated Kennedy. lt was a long, tough season for all, but the team never gave up in practice or in the games, no matter what the outcome. After losing to Springbrook 7-6 in the last seconds, and to Walt Whitman 12-10 on the last play of the game, the Eagles held together for what was a great experience, especially to those players going on to varsity. One of the best things to come out of the season was to see the improvement of jeff Kaplin, Tory Battle, james David, Kim Walker, and Sam Ladd, said Coach Doane. Named as most valuable players were Mark McCabe, Ricky Ficklin, Darin McCabe, Richard james, jim Signora, and james Davis. The team captains were jim Signo- ra, Richard james, and Darin McCabe. 1.
