Henrey Daufeldt and joe Kemp block the ball at the net. The Varsity Co-Ed Volleyball team ended a tough sea- son with a 6-6 standings. The team worked like a family, had fun, and got along well. All these important aspects made it a season to remember. Anne Meyers and Henry Daufeldt were named MVPs and captains were picked each game by the coach Mrs. Greisler. The team was very competitive and was complement- ed by every coach and referee throughout the season. said Mrs. Griesler Every team member, whether first string or not, added their own special touch to make our team a winning one! 4. LK Pursuing Individual Excellence Many teams go through a rebuilding period and this was the case with the 1983-84 Seneca Valley Track Team. Seneca Track, known in Montgomery County as one of the dominating forces, fell this year due to lack of interest. Although the numbers weren't there, the dedication and drive to excel of those participating was the same as that of a large team. Mr. Robertson, coach of Spring track, best sums up the major goal of the team as to pursue individual excellence. Pursuing individual excellence is just what the team did by qualifying three runners in the state meet. Sean Car- penter, representing the boys team, qualified in the 400 meters.
