Hard Work And Husle Pays' This years V. Softball team's spririt beat the odds. Mr. Barnhart, coach, ex- plains To me a 10 and 6 record is pret- ty good considering that the newspa- per and the other coaches believed that this would be the year to beat Sen- eca Valley! Well, it just didn't happen that way, and the kids deserve all the credit. Hard work and hustle will come out on top every time. Mr. Barnhart was right and the teams winning season proves it. Even though the young team lacked experience, the made up for it with enthusiasm. The team was lead by their captains julie Lauricella, Amy Feldman and Gina Angelo. Also, the team named Krista Fisher the MVP. Gina Angelo said the remaining players are looking forward to a great season next year. All these important aspects made it a season to remember. Anne Meyers and Henry Daufeldt were named MVPs and captains were picked each game by the coach Mrs. Greisler.
