As juniors, the class of '86 felt a little more confident about themselves and the events which occurred at Seneca Valley every day. We could easily locate where we needed to be, not like last year, when we entered Seneca as Soph- omores, and were completely lost. We were acquainted with both students and staff, which made our life as juniors just a little easier. We had finally earned acceptance, that for many was a con- stant battle only a year before. By this year, we had learned to adjust to get- ting up and 6:00, homework, endless telephone calls that last forever, and the one million other things that are Mary Lai Chris Lancaster Paul Larson jackie Lasater julie Lauricella Bill Leaman Mike LeBlanc Woo Lee V Tom LeFevre jason Lim Paul Lombard Russ Longaberger David Lott Vince Lucas Wilson Luckey Lisa Luckett Gretchen Luecke Yang Luh Tracy Lutz Bao Ly Robert Mabry Theresa Maggio julie Magyar jim Mangum Anupama Marathe Rita Martin Lisa Mayette Mary McAuliffe Keith McBride Mark McCabe Michelle McCracken Darrin McCutcheon jeff McCutcheon George McDonald Mary McGuigan Steve McNight Leslie McMasters Boshia McRoy john Medeiros Div Mehta juniors Class Of '86 part of a junior's life. Also as juniors, we face many deci- sions in approaching our final year. We begin to prepare for college by taking both our PSAT's and SAT's. Then, it's time to start looking at colleges. Soon the time rolled around to order class rings, a major event in the life of a ju- nior. A class ring brings to many juniors a sense of being officially in high school. During their junior year, many students get their driver's license, and another sense of accomplishment is gained. For many, it is the first year to drive to school, and for others their ju- nior year is only one step closer to a . L W 51 :L :E 16 X A 4 N, tt WV M license. There is also that excitement that be- gins to build up towards the end of the year. That impending thought of being on top, and not being pushed around or picked on anymore. By the time Spring Break rolls around, the juniors are so psyched up for their senior year that we begin to show our spirit exces- sively. Now, as the seniors leave to graduate, we juniors, without a second thought, take the role of being number one. Which, by the way, is a role we've learned so well. l XM 'g il! g 3. g -fN,,V,

uniors ..-4 Coming of Age This year the class of 86 moved up one more rung on the high school ladder. This means that some members of our class have left their junior varsity sports to play varsity. This also means that the cheerleaders get to cheer for the varsity play- ers, who get to play at better times in front of more adoring Eagle fans. Becoming a junior also sets you in a different state of mind. You are no longer just a kid, you're a young adult who will be thrust into the real world in a few short years. Manyof us in the Class of '86 will choose a fine establishment of higher learning and continue to get an education that will carry us on our way through later life. Hopefully, many of us will realize that we are iff? nearing an important time in our lives and get themselves together so they may obtain all they 1.
