FHA By Julie Brattin 'rhe FHA chapter was very active this year. The biggest project was the Fingerprinting. It went very well. A total of 163 kids participated in this event. Pictures were taken of the children and some identification cards were filled out. At Christmas the Chapter made vests, bibs, and sweats for the College View State School, and each member adopted 2 of the children. Each child received a gift from his sponsor. They really appreciated the things FHA had made. Jay Nunn was Santa Claus and all the kids loved him. Dinners are provided for every member by two officers every other month. Julie Brattin was the Regional Treasurer, and Susan Arwood was the Representative. For the fundraiser the chapter sold beef jerky. Most of the students bought some. At a $1.00 a stick. FHA s profit was $1553.00. The last event was the trip to Worlds of Fun! They rode a school bus there and back. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed themselves!
