In October. NHS led o parade of kindergarteners dressed in costumes, through the high school. Their December project was giving a free babysitting service. Members ployed gomes and served refreshments. In appreciation for the free babysitting, NHS received o free lunch ot the Seneco Dairy Queen in March. Rprii 23 induction was held in the Council House. Twenty-six new members were inducted. New members received o yellow rose, okey, o certificate, and a membership cord. In May. NHS honored the teachers by serving them breakfast. FFB Brings Home 7th Place Honors 8y Charles Profitt, junior The Poultry team of Seneca High School future Formers of America won seventh ploce ot the 58th National Convention which was held in Kansas City on November 14-16. Missouri ranked in the top ten with o 7th ploce rating. The team consisted of graduate Lelie Kuhn, Seniors Kelly Boll, Duane Chester, and Greg Hogan. The team was accompanied by its advisor and cooch Mike Grimmett. Future formers of Flmerica is o notional organization which reaches from the state of Fllaska to Puerto Rico and from the state of Maine to Howoii. The FFR hos 12 amis and purposes in the development of agriculture, leadership, cooperation, and citizenship. FFR was organized in November, 1928. Through active participation in the FFR, members learn by taking port and conducting meetings, speaking In public, participating in contest which is based on occupational skills. Chapter officers consist of o President, Vice-President, secretory, Treasurer. Sentinel, and Reporter. The FFR emblem consist of a cross section of on eor of corn, the rising sun, the plow, and the owl. Notional colors ore Notional Blue and Corn Gold.
