Due to the many other activities the science-related club was on go on two outings. The first was to Paul Henning State Forest in Bronson. MO. where they went hiking ond exploring. On May 17. the Club went to the Diamond Prairie in Diamond. MO. They went on wild flower walks and observed nature and wild animals. Senior Jeff Hendrick bravely gives blood for the Red Goss Bloodmoblle (Photo by UJIIson) By Deanna Sisk, senior Key Club had an outstandingly busy year! The Red Creoss Bloodmobile started the year off by earning 82 pints of blood. Key Club also participated in various fund raisers such as a car wash. collecting toys for the underprivileged, leaf raking, and a yearly project of selling notebooks to help raise money for state convention. Being a service organization, the Key Clubbers participated in the American Heart Association's Jump-fl-Thon held at the Northpark Mall, and raised olot of money for heart patients. The members were Kristi UJhitehill, junior, Staci Conduff, junior, Beth Ann Campbell, freshmon, ond Michael Steele, sophomore. They were headed by Mr. Charles Henderick ond his wife Judy. Horold Reeves, pastor of Hottle Springs Church Of Christ also attended the trip, ond drove the von that his church furnished. UJhen they first arrived in Cureko Springs the group went to the All Gloss Church, then offer visiting there, they went into town to do some shopping while they were waiting for the Passion Ploy to start ot 8:30 that evening. Another new event was introduced to the Fellowship of Christion Athletes members when the area churches decided to serve the members of the club with o light breakfast at their early morning meetings. Another successful year for the newly started club was headed by Brian Yust. President, Kristi UJhitehill. Vice President, ond Staci Conduff, Secretory.
