This Is the first year since Mr. Doug Campbell has been music director that they have token any freshmen to stote and this year they took the Freshmen Double Mixed quartet: Valerie Gilbert. Donna Royborn. Angle Skaggs. Mark McGulrk. Greg Berry. Nell Vust. Bobby Turley, receiving a U ot NCO I ot Districts and a II ot Stote. They also took two Soloist to Stote. Barbie King receiving a II ot NCO. a I ot Districts, and 0 I at Stote and James Harlan receiving a 1 ot NCO. a I ot Districts, and o N at State The Junior Trio ond the Sophomore Trio received a I at NCO and a I ot Districts but did not qualify for Stote. (Concert c k 0 e 1 r The Concert choir has been very busy this year working hard to improve flu their hard work paid off. This year during the 1984-1985 school year they ottended NCO Contest and received o H+ rating,- they ottended the Missouri Southern Stote College Contest and their second consecutive I rating in sight reading.- and they performed ot ten concerts In 1984-85 which were the Fall Concert. Christmas Concert, one for the parents, one ot the elementary, one ot the high school, ond also one at the junior high. They traveled to UJestvIew, NCO Music Festival. They did a Spring Concert. District Music Festival, and the POP'S Concert. Out of the 42 in Choir they hod two people to make the PM-District Honors Choir, they ore Rodney Green ond Barbie King.
