It isn’t necessary to be sent to the office” to know our superintendent, Mr. 0. W. Fox, for he always has a smile and greeting for anyone he meets in the halls or on the street. During his administration since 1943 many improvements have been made in our school, not the least being that we now have a teacher and classroom for each grade in the elementary school. He taught American History two years and coachedawinning basketball team three years. The teams became Tri-County Champs in ’43-’44 and ’44-’45, won first place in our Two-State Tournament '43-’44. Mr. Fox is also an outstanding individual in the work of the community. He is a member of the Commercial Club, the Lions’ Club, and an active worker in the Methodist Church. He owns an attractive home in Seneca, residing here with his wife and two children. The picture on his desk is of his daughter, Donna Kay. Born in Mendon, Missouri, Mr. Fox received his B. S. degree from Central Mo. State Teachers' College in Warrensburg, and his masters’ degree in high school administration from Missouri University Margery Bushner Secretary

jf rincipai IVA WELLS, B. A. Since the fall of 1926, Mrs. Wells has been principal, and during that time she has seen 6S0 seniors graduate from the halls of Seneca High School. She has been one of the senior sponsors and director of the senior play each year. Mrs. Wells, you’ve given much throughout the years: courage and understanding, an appreciation of a job well done. You've given faithful inspiration. You’ve quieted fears when imaginary goblins in mathematics lurked around your classroom door; you’ve given love and hope; and a host of pleasant memories. For four years Mrs. Bussard has been teaching social studies at SHS, and she sponsors the student council. Northeastern State, Tahlequah, is her alma mater.
