He was assigned, in July l97l, to the Naval Post Graduate School, Monterey, California, from which he received a Master of Science Degree in Operations Research! Systems Analysis in September l975. Following further duty under instruction at the Naval Destroyer School in Newport, Rhode Island, and the Navy Guided Missile School at Dam Neck, Virginia, Commander Lauzon reported to USS SFMMIZS IIJDG l8l. Ile was Weapons Officer in SEMMES from September ISJ74 through .luly ISJ7l3.
