J International Club, the New Kid The International Club is the new kid on the block this year. They combined all previous language clubs into one. Promoting interest in and appreciation for the language and culture of foreign lands and people. Their most memorable activity is their Oktoberfest. All the members worked together to learn how the Oktoberfest came into being as a wedding celebration of the king. During this festivity, the club featured German food, entertainment, and games. The International Club is definitely off to a good start. German dancing, students learn customs of other countries. Sword in hand, reenacts the life of a soldier. Varsity g g. , Cheerleaders Leading the school spirit all the way were Seminole's Varsity Cheerleaders. With Tracy Roark - captain and Cheryl Whitehead - co-captain, the girls organ- ized the most imaginative pep assemblies and cheered the guys Cand galsl to a vic- tory. All through the year spirit tags were made to express the spirit shown every- where in the school. Helping the school whenever possible they held car washes to raise money and ushered at various school activities. To highlight the year, the girls went to ICF flnternational Cheerleading Foundationl camp where they received the congeniality award, a special spirit award, and took the overall Grand Championship. Finally, this superior squad was rated fifth in the nation!
