Ir. When the Ir. Civitans get involved, they really mean it. Serving the school and the commu- nity, the club was able to accomplish many goals this year including: donat- ing money to improve our scho,ol's facilities and opportunities, selling bal- loons to raise money for the Prevention of Blind- ness Campaign, and con- ducting the annual fruit- cake sale with proceeds going to the Special Olym- pics for retarded citizens. Members also make friendships and keep old ones through several social activities including a trip to Busch Gardens. With Mr. Allcorn as their sponsor, the Ir. Along with their annual projects such as assisting with the Rotary Turkey Shoot and at the Special Olympics, Interact members' other service projects are fun for everyone involved: movies, variety programs, and basket- ball games against other clubs and local radio stations. Money raised by these benefits are spent toward helping the school. Interact is the service club with the creative differ- ence, and it is easy to see why their members know that Interact is the greatest service club in the universe.
