D.E.C.A. Seminole's Distributive Education Clubs of America were very active this year. Besides being involved in the on the job training program, members were always ready for competition. Starting in November, the elected offi- cers went to a Leadership Development Conference at Daytona Beach. District contests were held in February, where students competed in merchandising events with other county D.E.C.A. members. Winners advanced to the State competition held at Daytona Beach. To acknowledge both the D.E.C.A. members and their employers an appre- ciation banquet was held in May.
