Two groups from Seminole toured the Western Hemisphere studying the culture of past 'and present Europe. Mr. and Mrs. Poff and Mrs. Carol Dlinn escorted ,these two separate groups. Those were involved in cheer- leading, football or the,,,Warhawk Band prac- ticed for hours in the hot sun perfecting their skills for the upcoming school year. With impending hurricanes David and Freder- ick some were concerned that school would not start on time. But alas, on September 4, 1979 summer vacation ended. Although most of us wouldn't admit to it, there seemed to be a certain excitement and anticipation for the starting of a new school year. The first fewdays back would prove to be eventful. The Warhawk Band, during a home game the band shows the audience why they're number one. Farm girl, junior Carol I-Iintz learns about life on the farm. The Wally syndrome, senior Lori Logan teases around with Wally Warhawk, senior Steve Thomas, during a foot- ball game. 10 Opening
