The Library Council was host to the District Il meeting of the Teen-Age Library Association of Texas on October 19, 1957. Shown on this page are pictures taken during the convention. In the upper left, Miss Frances Goodall, the first librarian at Seminole High School chats with Mrs. Alfa Simmons and Mr. Fred Gipson, the featured speaker of the meeting. Other pictures show the table at the reception, sponsored by the F.H.A.
