Minn. Q .1 4n-ur Q.. T QL.: MR. H. E. MORRIS, Principal f ,gags in-l TO THE SENIORS Oli 1956 Congratulations! You have certainly set a fine record. Our faculty is proud of you. Your spirit. loyalty and devotion to duty will long be re- membered at Seminole High. You have 34 class members who have maintained honor grades for four years. This is remarkable. You have added to the various clubs and activities all through high school and have just reason to be proud of your own record. W'e are interested in your future and wish for you the very best of everything. Nothing contributes more to the highest success than the formation of a habit of enjoying things. Whatever your calling in life may be, whatever misfortune or hardship may come to you, make up your mind resolutely that, come what may, you will get the most possible real enjoyment out of every day, that you will increase your capacity for en- joying life by trying to find the sunny side of every experience of the day. Resolutely determine that you will see the humorous side of things. The mirth-provoking faculty, even under trying circumstances, is worth more to a young man or woman starting out in life than a fortune without it. Make up your mind that you will be an optimist, that there shall be nothing of the pessi- mist about you, that you will carry your own sunshine wherever you go. There is wonderful medical effect in good cheer. Good news and glad tidings have a magical effect, even upon invalids. All ISTHATIU Graduation from high school is a big milestone in the lives of our American youth, and rightfully so. Twelve years of school training has brought endless trials and tribulations along with won- derful opportunities for self-expression and achievement. Though the quest for knowledge is often accompanied by heartache and disappoint- ment, the reward for perseverance is sweet and satisfying. The graduating class of 1956 is off to a good start and has reached the first big plateau. But greater things lie ahead, for education is a means to an end, rather than the end itself. In the years to come, problems will arise, responsibilities will weigh heavily, and decisions must be made. Dur- ing times such as these, your experiences at Semi- nole High School will prove to be of inestimable value. Your classmates and teachers are proud to have shared in your school endeavors. Their every wish for your success and happiness should serve as a reminder that Seminole High School will miss you. MR. A. J. BRACKEN, Assistant Principal
