The Glidewell Vegetable Company presents Ma- jor Moss and his amateurs broadcasting from the Mayfair Hotel on beautiful Lake Monroe here in Sanford. This is Richard Bassler announcingeand now Major Mossy ttI-Iello everyone. Because of the fact that tonight is Sanford, Florida night, I have the pleasure of introducing many of my former schoolmates. And now I bring you Reginald Soderbloom, John Kader, William Burnett, Louis Bills, and Clifford Gustavson, who call them- selves the uBroadway Hill-Billysfy Clap-clap. And next our little housewife, Sheila Cameron, singing, llThere's Something About a Sailorft Clap-clalp. IlAnd now let me present Kathleen, Nora, and Francis Riley, who came all the way from Osceola to participate in our program. These three have been studying music ever since they finished high School, and now wish to give you an exhibition of their talent. They are going to- sing their own original number, Back Home Again in Osceola? Applause. nThe next participant is Billy Pugh, filling station operator in Lake Mary, who will give imitations of Lake Mary Birds. Gong. III see in the audience some of the past winners of this program ; who are none other than Louisa James, Helen Harkey, Jessie Kersey, and Theresa Humphrey, chorus girls, who just finished the production thhy Dance? starring St Clair White. the Casanova of today. St. Clair is reported to be Ilthat wayh about Jessie. I also see coming in the famous dance team, Grace Cook and Raymond Anderson. Oh, yes, and there are Virginia Meriwether and Bob Raulerson, co-stars of the Pulitzer prize-winner, llThe Big Butter and Egg Man? ltAnd now back to our program: Julia Belle McClelland, Mary Tamm, and Marjorie Popei owners of the Sanford Music Store, will give their impersonation of the famous Boswell sis- ters? Clap. IlNow we shall enjoy a dramatic skit by Fannie Biggers, expression teacher in Seminole High School? Clap. tINext, we wish to present, IIThe Rolling Stones Orehestralt composed of: Robert Wilson, piano; Jerry Senkarik, violin; Carl Fesler, drum; C. D. Phillips, saxophone; Charles Robin- son, trumpet; Ernest Wilson, bass Violin; L. E. Tew, saxophone; under the direction of Max Rumbley. These boys have been playing for a number of local dances. These ladies, Mrs. Edwin Boniske, wife of a local physician, nee Louise Purdon; Mrs. Bill Corgill, wife of the French instructor at Seminole High, nee Opal Govoeek; Mrs. Glen Govoeek, wife of the football coach of Seminole High, nee Josie Belle Andrews; Mrs. Clyde Hurt wife of a prome inent lawyer, nee Annie Belle Brown; and Mrs. Bob XNillianis, wife of the sheriff, nee Sarah Edwards? First we shall hear Margaret Bennett, Elizabeth Brighamis secretary, impersonating Eunice Tyler. Next, Esta Benjamin, beauty operator in Doris Mc- VVhorterls beauty salon, impersonating Martha McDonald. Third, is Carolyn McKinney, secretary for Glidewell Vegetable Company, impersonating Elizabeth Turner? Clap-clap-clap. nTime out again for a message from Mary Chapman, dietitian? tlDo you enjoy your vegetables? If not, eat Glidewell Vegetables. They are without a doubt the most nourishing and appetizing on the market. But clonlt take my word for it. Wont you say a few words Mr. Torrance ?'U I did it for the little womanf; tlThank you Mr. Torrance? ltVVe will now be favored by a duet by Miss Louise Ross, local undertaker, and Miss Hal- lie Walker, art teacher at Seminole High Schoolfl Clap. ltAnd now to wind up our program; the remainder of our amateurs wish to present a one-act farce entitled liPut Out the Home Fires.H The Home will be played by Mary Alice Williams; the Fireplace by Clara Meisch and the fire by Ruth Meisch; Louise Packard will play the role of the Fire Screen; the Wood will be played by Lenora Raburn; the Ashes -by Kathleen May; Oris Saunders will be Smoke; Mary Went will play the part of the Poker; Evelyn Wilkinson, Smut. These girls are members of the Little Theatre Club? ttBefore awarding the prize, I wish to thank Miss Doris Rockey, owner of the Mayfair for her co-operation in presenting this program.
