With the help and advice of Mr. Howden, Principal, and of Mr. Sims, Student Body Treasurer, the council was ready and willing to tackle the many small but important problems that arose during the course of the vear. The council was made up of our principal, Mr. Howden, the Student Body Officers, the editors and the business managers of the Clarion and of the Magnet, and the class presidents. A great deal of credit and glory should be given to the council members for doing such a grand job of leading our school in the many activities in which the school took part this year. The Board of Trustees has done an especially fine piece of work this year. XVe particularly ap- preciate the fine new cafeteria, made possible by the Board. As there was a tremendous need for some new school buses. the Board at the begin- ning of the school year purchased one shiny .is bus. which the students have greatly enjoyed. Next year a few more will be purchased. ln spite ol' many difficult problems con- fronting the Board, the five Board members have done everything possible to make this year pleasant for the students of Selma High. On behalf of the Student Body. the Nlagnet Staff would like to thank the Board for its interest and cooperation in all matters pertaining to our school. TRUSTEES X11 Xivisal Xkarnci.
